After a Justin Bieber video, the Sólheimasandur plane wreck became a destination overnight. Self driving tourists created real danger by stopping along the main road, with no proper place to park.
Parka took the site from no parking to premium parking, moving visitors off the road into a managed car park. Nature is preserved, no public money was used, and violators are fined automatically through ANPR.
